Karin Donaldson Art Exhibition, some events postponed

Good morning all,

To those of you who are travelling, I hope you are enjoying your trip and seeing some new country out here in our vast outback.

Our numbers are obviously down at present as our Sydney siders and coastal friends are unable to venture out and by and large are adhering to the covid regulations. I’ve heard from a couple of our venues out here that an odd Sydney sider has blatantly walked in, and rightly so has been asked to leave.

Louth Races cancelled, Mundy Mundie Music Bash postponed to September

Good morning everyone,

Again it’s Monday morning and probably just as well. We have the ‘cursed covid’ popped it’s head up at Mildura over night.

This could have big ramifications for our Far West Area Health so please be very careful to follow the rules set out by our medical team to the ‘T’.

If you see a Removalist Van with Sydney or Melbourne on it, give it a wide birth!

Traveller numbers down ...

Good morning everyone,

I was stuck for words last week and now have no idea how to guide you.

I purposely waited till this morning to hear what ‘aunty Glad’ had to say. Wouldn’t like her job at the moment, it seems our state hinges on the fact that NOBODY comes toodling round our vast outback area from a hot spot in the coastal area.

Although traveller numbers have dropped off significantly this last week or so, we just have to wait and see what the next few days brings I feel.

Latest road conditions, radio stations

Good morning all,

Well it’s 2 degrees and the sun’s up! What more could you wish for. Running a bit late this time, it’s definitely the grandkids fault, we’re worn out!

I’m going to start with a catch up on our roads at present. Basically, river roads north of Wilcannia are closed and those south are open. While the Cobb highway is open all the way and the Dry Lake road is still closed.
