Electric car charger, Henry Lawson Festival and more
Good morning all,
It occurred to me this morning, I wonder how many of you listen to Macca on a Sunday morning. I quite enjoy the get-together and the immense following he has, he’s a legend in his own lifetime!
Now I forgot to tell you all, we can now fill up electric cars. I know there’s not many, I’ve seen 1! But hey, we have a bowser to fill them.
The river is coming up again too. Does that mean you can catch fish or they’re not biting? Not a fisherman, as you may gather.
Down to business, and you’ll have to get your skates on and head to Bourke for the Henry Lawson Festival next Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Brochure attached. Or get mobile to Birdsville for their races on Friday and Saturday. It’s up to you.
Next is the “Broken Heel Festival”, 8th. to 12th. Where you ask? In the Hill of course, big Festival.
And guess what? The Hay Show is the 9th./10th. Toss a coin! Or if you are within cooee of White Cliffs drop in to the Hotel there on Thursday 8th. for a great ‘Country Music Night’ at the pub.
Moving on, you can enjoy a bush Race Meeting at Enngonia on the 17th. make a week end of it. And speaking of races, why not be entertained at the ‘Pooncarie Cup’ race meeting in that town on the 1st. Oct. You could duck up from Mildura while you are enjoying the Mildura Country Music Festival from the 23rd. of Sept to the 1st. October. Kill 2 birds with the one stone!
I’m getting confused myself now so will leave you with all that, but please be careful, rain in unknown amounts arriving this week, so the old story of dirt roads! If it rains, please stay off dirt roads won’t you.
Enjoy yourselves, drop in and say Hi.
We’ll meet again, soon. Cheers Bill Elliott. WCTA.
