Kangaroos, Vanilla Slice Making Comp, and more

Good morning all,

Back into harness again. You know how we have to be very careful of hitting a ‘roo out here at night? Well it has nothing on dodging ‘pot holes’ down in the ‘inside country’. One was that big a larrican planted a pot plant in it!!

Anyway, if you’re within a bulls roar of Louth, get yourself up there for the Louth Races next Saturday, as I said before you’ll love it.

Then toodle out to White Cliffs the following Saturday for their “Camel Cup and Bikekhana”

Sounds like a fun day. As you come through Cobar, you can see a real Stock Auction on the 9th. with the Cobar Ram Sales. Just a thought.

When you’re done at White Cliffs, head to Broken Hill, They have the Winter Wonderland Markets on the 21st. The Mundi Mundi Bash, big event, on18/20th again August.

You can’t make them all but have fun trying. Also the Wentworth Show, I think I mentioned on the 28/29.

You’ll have to book soon for this one, but the International Ploughing Competition is on in County Laios, Ireland, on the 21/23rd. Sept. Hell it’s a good show!

Forgot to mention, all you people in Vans, if you are close to Merbein on the 13th. (Sat. week) there’s a “Vanilla Slice making Comp” You can do that in a caravan, have a bit of Fun.

I won’t start on September today, you’ll get sick of me.

Have a great couple of weeks, it’s going to rain so beware of the dirt roads. Say hi to a stranger, and I’ll catch you all in a couple of weeks. Cheers, Bill Elliott.  WCTA.
