(IPF) Program
Successful Learning in the Early Years at Home & School
The Australian Parents Council, in partnership with the Department of Education Employment Workplace Relations (DEEWR) will be hosting a number of workshops across NSW that will be targeting Indigenous parents and carers of Indigenous children.
These workshops will be conducted by the Australian Parents Council. Up to 20 people will receive intensive training in how to present the 3 IPF workshops - Successful Early Learning; Successful Learning to Read; and Successful Learning to Write. After the training, all participants can go back to their schools, communities and community groups and provide this training to other parents and people in their communities.

Workshop Dates: 1st, 2nd & 3rd May, 2012 [Participants enrolling for this training will need to attend all 3 days]
Time: 9.30am – 2.30pm each day
Indigenous parents & carers; pre-school, playgroup, kindy & school workers and community educators who are genuinely interested in these workshops are invited to participate. Please contact your contact person if you wish to nominate.
