Brrrrr…. Winter is here! Frosts and all. Standing in the sun on the Nyngan railway station platform out of the wind is a great place to be most days. Shame I have to work. 😊

The year is flying past. I am a little late with this email as I had a trip to Cunnamulla to see family last week. The country side is looking good still but man oh man are there some goats of every size and colour!!

There are loads of events happening all over the outback this July from ice skating and the Bald Archy in Brewarrina to Duck Creek Week and Races in Nyngan, polocrosse, camel racing, bull riding, a cattle drive in QLD, cattle dog championships, two Opal Festivals (Yowah and The Ridge), country music, river cruises and more.

If you know of any events I may have missed please let me know and I will update the calendar.
