Hello,

Wow! October is just a couple of days away! The Big Bogan Festival in Nyngan yesterday was a great family day out and entertainers, especially the Wolfe Brothers, were excellent. Great event for our little town.

There are not as many events on the calendar this month as the weather starts warming up but still plenty to keep you busy. The long weekend certainly is a popular weekend for events from the Carinda Let’s Dance Festival, Cobar Festival of the Miner’s Ghost, to the horse and motorbike sports day around far west. These are always such wonderful opportunities for smaller communities to shine.

If I have missed any events, please let me know as soon as possible and I will update the calendar.
