Update: Thursday 5th March, 2026

Just a quick note to say that there has been a change to the event calendar for March - Nyngan's Life Chairty Focus Ball has been postponed from next Saturday 14 March until Saturday 10 October 2026.

Hello,

Well it's that time of the month again to send off the event calendar. The month of March has quite a few events with a lot of variety. Should be something for everyone!  Races, fishing comps, film festivals, field days, triathlons, tennis, balls and many more events. These events won't happen without all the wonderful volunteers and dedicated committee members.  If I have missed any events please let me know asap and I will add them to the calendar then resend.

There are a few Senior's Week events happening around the traps. Keith Potger, an original member of The Seekers (for those of us who remember them well), will be performing at the Nyngan Bowls Club on 15 March at 2pm. Free community event.

"Europeans: I drove 40 minutes to spend the weekend in Paris, then popped to Germany to visit family on the way home.
Australians: I was in Queensland and drove for 18 hours. I’m still in Queensland."

Kind Regards
