Good morning all,

Well it’s quite simple, great rain everywhere, and pretty well all roads closed. Please check with the relevant Shire you are travelling through for closure notices, but currently the only roads open in Central Darling are the sealed roads and the Cobb highway.

So, what’s coming up for you. First on the list is the Walgett Races next Saturday the 17^th. Keep an eye on the sky! Then we duck over to Broken Hill on the 27^th. where the Melbourne Comedy Festival is putting on a great show at the Civic Centre.

But on your way through, stop off here in Wilcannia on Saturday the 25^th. for our Market day in Baker Park and go on to White Cliffs next day, Sunday and have some fun at their Market Day. You’ll find more than you can handle at those 2 days and then toodle over to Broken Hill for the night our at the Civic Centre.

If you’re a racing fan, you’ll have time to make it to the Duck creek races near Nyngan the next Saturday the 1^st. July. Don’t forget too, Louth Races are on the horizon, it’s a full week really up there so go prepared for the week leading up the big event on the 5^th. August.

I’ll be back with you before then, so drive safe, call in to our little towns and say hi. Our apologies for no coffee shop in town here for the last couple of weeks but it will be up and running next Monday and Conrad and Shona will certainly look after you all.
