The “Dustdrinkers B & S Ball”, Driver Reviver Van, amd more

Good morning to you all,

Bit late this week, the weekend was stronger than the body! I won’t even talk about the weather, ‘cept to say goodness it’s cold. Oh and Georgie at the ABC, don’t use hot water on your windscreen, stick to the credit card!

Long week end coming up, enjoy the everlasting hospitality of Ivanhoe, and go “Pig Hunting” the whole week end, 13 prizes to win. Probably a bit strenuous for caravaners but heaps of fun.

Go down a bit further to Hay. The “Dustdrinkers B & S Ball” next Saturday. Will that be a show and a half.

Now down in the “hospitality corner” of the state, you’ll find a big “Fly In” at Wentworth next Saturday, free admission, and all the trimmings. See the girls at the visitor Centre, they’ll have you moving!

Again, and still the long weekend, we have the Driver Reviver Van going again here in Wilcannia. Drop in and have a cuppa, a bikkie, a “pit stop” and a yarn. We’ll look after you.

How you’re going to do all that next week end I don’t Know.

Moving on to the next fun filled weekend, we have the “Acacia Quartet” at the Denni. Golf Club on the 21st. 3-30 to 5-30 PM. There is a “Back to the 50’s-60’s Music” at the Red Earth Opal Cafe in  White Cliffs on the 20th. and includes a meal as well.

Down at Deniliquin they have the Lions Club Markets on the 22nd. if you’re about. Must have something for “the inside country”, and that’s the Scone Races coming up on the 24th.

So, have a great week and long week end, remember double de-merit points, I know you won’t do anything silly though.

Don’t drive through a town, they’re waiting to say hi to you. take care now, cheers Bill Elliott.  WCTA.
