Hello,

Another month of 2026 is about to end and a new season is about to start. It's great to see the tourist numbers have increased as it was not looking good for a while. Nyngan VIC was very quiet for a while.

September calendar is very full with events happening all around the Outback. There is something for everyone from fishing, golf, country music, gymkhanas, rodeos, rallies and much more. Once again if I have missed any events please let me know asap.

Nyngan held its Big Boar Bonanza this month and incredibly almost 6000 feral pigs were removed from the environment over 60 hours, and the Saturday event went off well for the organisers.

We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.
