Hello everyone,

Without sounding a bit ‘trumpet blowing’ our Field Day yesterday was really great. Many thanks to all those who stopped over for the day. One couple came all the way from Geelong, just for the day, what an effort. Anyway, great Field day, Driver Reviver had heaps through and hope all other events over the weekend were also successful.

Lots of travellers on the move at the moment, and from all parts of the country. SO, if any of you are going anywhere near Menindee, you must check out the “Wild, wacky, wonderful Women”, on in Menindee, at the hall, 13^th. next Saturday. Be there 9-30 to 3-30, all welcome and free! If you miss it there’s a repeat at Ivanhoe, that’s on the 20^th. same set up, all welcome and free.

The next Saturday, the 27^th. is the Duck Creek Races, if you’re not a racing fan then you’ll still meet some really nice people, top day out.

That takes us through to the end of the month. I’ll have July’s agenda for you soon, and word to hand is, a group of enthusiastic people are getting a “Rodeo/Gymkhana” organised for Ivanhoe. This is happening on 26/27^th.Sept. So start thinking about that, and Tammie McMasters will gladly give you all the details on 0429049633.

Some really good weather on the way. Cool mornings, beautiful days, no rain, dry roads, what more could you wish for. Now NPWS advises the road to Peerie Lake is opened again if you are in that area. (White Cliffs) and they hope to have amenities done by the school holidays. There will no doubt be some tours out there in the holidays as well as Mungo NP. (see last weeks email)
