Ivanhoe surplus equipment sale, lawnmower races, road information

Good morning everyone,
Well the weather has certainly decided to warm up so please remember to keep hydrated and travel with sufficient water and please check road conditions before travelling on our outback roads.
Now to area events; there's the sale of surplus equipment at the Ivanhoe Hospital on the 28th November with many a bargain to be found, a lot of gear to be auctioned.
Down to Wentworth now, the next day is the Rotary Club Markets, a great opportunity for a big family day out.
During all this period the National Parks are holding 'Walls of China Walks' almost daily, a break over Christmas and New Year and then through till Feb. Check their website for times.  Or if you contact the Buronga office on 0350218900 they will give you the full details.
Remember the Lawnmower races, you still have plenty of time to tune up your machine ready for Booborowie on the 12th of December.
Don't forget you can hear the latest information from Central Darling Shire road report 08 80915155, which covers most of this outback area.
Our radio stations will guide you through, listen to our fabulous radio stations for the latest, you know them now, ABC 1584, 999, 657. Outback 2WEB 585, FM 103.1 and 107.7 but of course the simple way is to call and ask a local.
Till next week, don't miss a thing and keep those event reports coming our way.
Now remember, Life is like a coin, you can spend it any way you wish, but you can only spend it once!
Cheers Bill Elliott WCTA
