My carrying on about it being dry didn’t help did it? It’s a true saying though, every day is a day closer to rain!

Incidentally, we have an ATM in the reception room at Warrawong Caravan Park. How good is that. And getting lots of use Kim says.

First place to be this week is the “Christmas in July” festivities at White Cliffs next Friday if you are in the area. Or if you are staying at Warrawong, duck up for the day.

Or you can trundle down to Menindee, have a look at the lakes and have a great day at the Menindee Community markets on Sunday (27^th.). Bound to find a treasure.

By the time you head north, (if you wish!) up past Greg and Lilly, drop in perhaps, up to Wilcannia, Tilpa, (dropping in of course!), you will just make it nicely for the Louth Races on the 9^th. Aug. Just can’t miss the Louth Races.

If you are in a different part of our great West, then there’s the “Opal and gem Festival”  in Lightening Ridge, and that’s on 31^st. to 3^rd. Definitely bargains there.

The week after Louth is the “Landcare Forum” in White Cliffs. 15^th. 16^th. very informative, excellent speakers, and you need to  contact Louise Turner, so they will know you’re coming.

You have to make a dash then to Milparinka if you are going to be in time for their “Field and Game Shoot” all happening on the 16^th. and 17^th.

It’s all happening isn’t it? And remember, you get great coverage of everything and a pleasant voice to listen to, if you tune your radio to 999 ABC in the Broken Hill area and the Top Country. ABC repeater on 1584  in the Wilcannia area. River Radio Wilcannia FM 103.1. And the ever fabulous Radio 2WEB up at Bourke and around the west. Happy travelling, you’ve got a lot to cover!
