Remembrance Service, Ivanhoe Gala Market Day, Menindee Carols By Candlelight

Off to a good start this week, and would you believe, not a sign of rain in sight. Not a lot going on either as our season draws to a close.

We have, a Remembrance Service taking place in both Wilcannia and Menindee tomorrow, Tuesday, starting at 10-45 AM, all welcome of course.

Then up at White Cliffs, you can have a spot of Indoor Bowls at the hall at 7-30 Thursday night. At the same Hall there’s Table tennis on Friday arvo, and to top it all off you can have a relaxed Dinner at the Store that night.

Pack up your gear and head down to Wendy at Ivanhoe the following week, as they have:

Govt. Mobile Service Unit there on Wednesday 19th.

Big Ivanhoe School Reunion, (God hasn’t so and so aged!), on the Friday 21st. and half the night as well. And then the Gala Market Day all day Saturday. The Wilcannia ladies are organised to go already!

Looking into the future----Menindee Christmas Pageant 2014, 5-30 PM Sat. 29th. Wilcannia Carols by Candlelight, 2nd. Dec. Menindee Carols By Candlelight, Saturday 13th. More happening than I thought.

So, take care on the road, Thursday is going to be in the 40’s, and so are a lot more days I expect. Don’t drive fast, think of your tyres. Look out for your mate.

If your passing through Wilcannia, drop in and say Hi, love to meet you. Till next time, don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.  Cheers Bill Elliott,  WCTA.
